The UAE or the Emirates is a country in Western Asia. The sovereign constitutional monarchy is a federation of seven emirates consisting of Abu Dhabi (the capital), Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the UAE. The list of countries eligible for visa on arrival may vary from time to time; therefore, it is advisable to check with the UAE embassy in your country before travelling to the UAE.
